The dreamy Lampan finds a bit hard to adjust to village life where everybody knows everyone's business. Separated from his beloved Aai and siblings, he must attend the village school where everyone seems smarter and savvier than him. But little Lampan is plucky and with his can-do attitude, he manages to survive those endless summer days in the village. Set in 1947, the series is placed in a cocoon-like place where the conflicts are easily resolved, and the sense of community is strong.
